Dr. Alanna Schloss
Dr. Schloss graduated from the University of Maryland. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland in 2017. Alanna enjoys getting to know her patients and loves that audiology allows her to connect with people of all ages. She treasures knowing that by providing personalized hearing healthcare, there is a significant improvement in a patient’s quality of life. Alanna’s capstone project, titled “Role of the Auditory Periphery in Self-Assessment of Hearing Abilities in Younger and Older Adults,” is currently under review to be published in Hearing Research. Additionally, she has presented posters regarding her research at the American Auditory Society and Association for Research in Otolaryngology annual conferences. Her clinical rotations include the Kennedy Krieger Institute, NIH, and Live Better Hearing. In her free time, Alanna likes listening to live music, playing the guitar, and spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Quinn.
