Dr. Candace Robinson

Audiologist

Dr. Candace Robinson is an audiologist at our Pasadena, MD clinic, bringing more than two decades of clinical and academic experience to patient care. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Florida and her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Towson University.

Dr. Robinson has served as a clinical preceptor in otolaryngology, academic, and private practice settings since 2001. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loyola University Maryland, where she supervises graduate students on interprofessional assessment teams for Auditory Processing Disorder and teaches Clinical Audiology to undergraduate students. She previously served as Clinical Director of the Doctor of Audiology program at Towson University, where she taught courses in Practice Management, Hearing Aids, Diagnostics, Ethics and Professionalism, and Aural Rehabilitation, and co-authored "Development of a Formative and Summative Assessment System for Au.D. Education," published in the American Journal of Audiology in 2013.

From 2016 to 2021, Dr. Robinson served on the Maryland Board of Examiners for Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Music Therapists, including as Executive Director. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a certificate in tinnitus management. She is also certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, where she serves as Maryland's Audiology representative on the Committee of Ambassadors, and she served as President of the Maryland Academy of Audiology in 2025.

Dr. Robinson individualizes treatment around each patient's personal communication goals, applying the same rigor she brings to teaching the next generation of audiologists directly to the people she treats. Outside the clinic, she spends her time with family, friends, and pets, at the beach, and cheering on the Ravens and Orioles.
