We have some exciting news to share. Alexandria Hearing Centers, long known as Massa & Associates, is now part of Live Better Hearing + Balance.
My wife and co-founder, Jenifer, and I have practiced audiology together for more than 20 years in the DMV region. We started Live Better Hearing + Balance in 2007 from a single office in Montgomery Village, Maryland, and today, it is a family-owned practice with nearly 30 locations across Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Welcoming Alexandria's two offices is an honor for us.
Dr. Michael Massa founded Alexandria Hearing Centers in 1983. For more than 40 years, the practice has earned its reputation one patient at a time. Dr. Ann Parro, Cindy Vollmer, and the Alexandria team wanted to make sure their patients were left in the very best hands. We take that trust seriously, and we are glad to welcome them because they put patients first, just like we do.
If you are an Alexandria patient, this is the most important thing we want you to know: nothing about your care is changing.
You will see the same friendly faces at the front desk and the same providers in the office. Your appointments, your relationships with your providers, and the quality of care you have always received will continue exactly as they are. Your records will transfer securely and remain fully accessible to you and your care team without any gap. If you would like a copy for your own files, just ask.
Live Better Hearing + Balance is led by doctors of audiology and trusted by more than 1,500 referring physicians across the Mid-Atlantic. Being part of a larger practice means more support behind the Alexandria team. Over time, that means more hearing and balance services and new ways to help you hear and stay connected.
In the coming weeks and months, you may see a new sign on the door, a new logo on your paperwork, and eventually a new name. Please do not let that surprise you. It is the same practice, the same people, and the same care you have always trusted, now as part of a larger family of practices.
Dr. Parro and the Alexandria team will be right there through the transition to make sure everything goes smoothly.
We are happy to help. Call our office at 703-372-9792 or visit AlexandriaHearing.com. If you would like to request a copy of your records, just ask any member of the team.
Thank you to the Alexandria community for trusting this practice with your hearing care for more than 40 years. We look forward to supporting your hearing health for many more.
