Our White Plains clinic is led by Dr. Casey Gaskins and Dr. Morgan Pinello, two audiologists who bring compassionate and expert care to our Southern Maryland community.
Dr. Gaskins grew up in Charles County, earned her doctorate at the University of Maryland, and returned home to build her practice here. She leads every appointment with a warm, unhurried approach — taking time to explain results clearly, answer every question, and make sure patients feel confident about whatever comes next. Her clinical specialties include cochlear implant assessment and programming, vestibular evaluation, tinnitus management, and hearing aid fitting across all ages.
Dr. Pinello joined the practice through Live Better Hearing + Balance's audiology residency program and has continued on as a full-time audiologist. Her doctoral research on visual-vestibular integration and eye movement behaviors in chronically dizzy patients makes her a strong clinical resource for patients referred for vestibular evaluation and balance disorders.
At our White Plains location, patients have access to the full scope of audiological care: comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, precision hearing aid fittings verified with Real-Ear Measurement, vestibular and balance testing including VNG and canalith repositioning, cochlear implant assessment and programming, electrophysiology testing (ABR, EcochG, and VEMP), tinnitus evaluation and management, and pediatric care from newborn through adulthood.
Dr. Gaskins and Dr. Brenk work in active partnership with referring ENTs, neurologists, and primary care physicians throughout Charles County and southern Maryland.
We serve patients from White Plains, Waldorf, La Plata, Bryans Road, Indian Head, Hughesville, Mechanicsville, and Lexington Park, as well as patients from St. Mary's County and Prince George's County who travel for the level of clinical care available here.

Your first visit typically begins with a conversation about your hearing history, the situations where you struggle most, and any concerns your physician may have flagged. Dr. Gaskins and Dr. Pinello take time before any testing begins to explain what they are going to do and why — patients consistently note that every step was explained before it happened, which makes the process feel manageable rather than clinical. Before you leave, your audiologist will walk you through your results in plain language and discuss next steps, without pressure to make any decisions on the spot. If you were referred by a physician, a copy of your results will be sent to their office promptly.

We work with many hearing benefit plans and can verify your coverage when you call to schedule. Yes. Both Dr. Gaskins and Dr. Pinello have training and experience in vestibular evaluation, including VNG testing and Epley/canalith repositioning procedures for BPPV. Dr. Pinello's doctoral research focused on visual-vestibular integration and eye movement behaviors in chronically dizzy patients, which informs her clinical approach to balance cases. If you have been referred for balance testing by a neurologist or ENT, or are experiencing dizziness, vertigo, or unsteadiness, we can schedule a vestibular evaluation and provide a thorough report back to your referring provider.
Yes. Our White Plains clinic provides hearing care for patients from newborn through adulthood, including newborn hearing screenings, pediatric diagnostic evaluations, and hearing aid fitting for children of all ages. If your child's pediatrician or ENT has recommended a hearing evaluation, call (301) 687-2372 to schedule.
