We are thrilled to congratulate our outstanding doctoral residents, Becca Kelly, Madison Knodell, and Myles Marion, on earning their Doctor of Audiology degrees this spring. This remarkable achievement is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and commitment to advancing the field of audiology and providing exceptional care to our patients.
Drs. Kelly, Knodell, and Marion spent the last year as part of our Doctoral Residency Program, a premiere, comprehensive clinical audiology training program for 4th year audiology doctoral students. We are so excited that all three new doctors will continue as full time audiologists at Live Better Hearing + Balance. Dr. Becca Kelly will continue to practice at our Frederick, MD hearing center. She has shown immense dedication and passion for audiology throughout her residency. Dr. Kelly is known for her patient-centered approach and her ability to connect with individuals, ensuring they receive the best possible care tailored to their needs.
She earned a Doctorate of Audiology at the University of Maryland, College Park and earned special recognition as part of the UMD Cochlear Implant Emphasis Program. While completing her graduate degree, Dr. Kelly was involved in an interdisciplinary research project investigating the relationship between hearing loss and cognitive decline.

Dr. Madison Knodell will continue practicing in our Waldorf, MD hearing clinic. Her journey through the audiology program has been marked by her enthusiasm for learning and her dedication to improving her patients' quality of life through better hearing.
Dr. Knodell loves the full scope of audiology, and her special interests include aural rehabilitation, tinnitus assessments, and vestibular diagnostics. Her compassionate nature and attention to detail make her a trusted provider for patients of all ages.
She earned her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Cincinnati where she was active as a student manager for FETCHLAB, a graduate assistant, and the advocacy committee leader for the UC Student Academy of Audiology chapter.

Dr. Myles Marion is bringing his passion for hearing health care to both our Baltimore, MD and Timonium, MD hearing centers. His residency has been distinguished by his innovative approach to audiology and his commitment to patient education.
Dr. Marion's areas of expertise include advanced diagnostic audiology, hearing aids, and balance disorders. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and ensuring his patients enjoy their hearing health journey.
Dr. Marion earned a Doctor of Audiology degree from Towson University, and while completing his graduate degree, he completed a thesis project titled “Validating Android-based Audiogram Applications.”
