Yes. Our Ellicott City office is one of the only clinics in Maryland to provide Lenire, the first and only FDA-approved device for tinnitus treatment. Lenire uses safe, non-invasive neuromodulation therapy to help reduce the impact of tinnitus over time. Dr. Stacey Samuels Cole is trained in fitting and supporting patients with Lenire, guiding you through personalized treatment plans to achieve the best results.
Yes, we do offer cochlear implant services at our Ellicott City office. Cochlear implants are a really effective solution for people with severe to profound hearing loss. They're not like regular hearing aids that amplify sound to the eardrum. Instead, these devices skip the damaged or non working parts of the ear and stimulate the auditory nerve directly from the cochlea, helping to send sound signals straight to the brain. Live Better Hearing + Balance has teamed up with top-notch cochlear implant surgeons from Johns Hopkins and Georgetown for testing, fitting, and follow-up care at some of our locations. Our team is skilled in handling everything from your first check-up to the actual implant procedure and the aftercare.
Yes, Dr. Cole is happy to serve all patients who would like to communicate in American Sign Language (ASL), in addition to those who would like to speak or communicate in English.
