The Live Better Foundation is bringing its community hearing care initiative to Philadelphia with a free "Gift of Hearing" event at Face to Face in Germantown. The event will take place on Friday, December 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will offer no-cost hearing tests, ear cleanings, and hearing aids for eligible low-income adults during this holiday season.
This community program is designed to reach neighbors who may be struggling with untreated hearing loss. Millions of Americans lack access to hearing health services, often because of financial barriers. Untreated hearing loss is linked to social isolation, cognitive decline, depression, and reduced quality of life. The foundation’s mission is to close this gap by bringing high quality hearing care directly into the communities that need it most.
Guests who attend the event will receive:

The foundation has seen firsthand how transformative community hearing events can be. Last year, more than 40 Baltimore residents received free hearing aids and care during a similar Gift of Hearing event. The Baltimore Sun covered the story and highlighted the immediate impact on the people served. This year, the foundation is bringing the same level of care and support to the Germantown community.
