Dr. Scott MacDonald of LBH&B tested me to see if my hearing loss supported the surgery required to install a cochlear implant. I considered my hearing loss to be significant because without my current devices it was extremely difficult to understand words in general and in group conversation. There was a sharp decline in my hearing loss during the past year. My current hearing professionals consider LBH&B to be the ultimate source for testing to determine the need for the surgery. Much to my surprise, this testing involved very similar testing except this testing was with my current hearing aids in place. With my current devices on, there was a satisfactory percentage of words recognized. Thus the decision was that I simply needed aids with improved technology. Dr. Scot described all aspects of hearing and the use of various devices. His testing procedure was totally comfortable and I have full confidence in his evaluation. All aspects of his skill in a clean & pleasant professional setting was stress free. I heartily recommend working with him regarding any aspect of hearing and balance.

Dr. Elms was extremely helpful and friendly, in spite of the fact that it was his last day in the office, and he was busy clearing out his desk. The office is very well organized, and I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Thank you for excellent patient service.

I've always found LBH people to be professional, courteous, and helpful. I came to LBH in October 2023 needing to be tested for hearing loss in both ears. The findings established that I did require two hearing aids. The options were explained to me in a clear and understandable language. I purchase the hearing aids and have been very satisfied ever since. The few times I've had to visit LBH I've been very happy with each visit. My office appointment with Dr. Holly Forst was quick and easy. She tested my hearing and did some maintenance on my hearing aids. She reassured me that my hearing condition was not getting worse at this time and she said to contact her if I had any hearing issues before the next appointment.
