I first became a patient at this location before it merged with Live Better Hearing and Balance. I made the transition from a provide in Rockville, which was highly-touted, including by Washingtonian Magazine, but gradually no longer filled my needs. Things began well, but then every time I had an appointment I was treated by a different audiologist. The last one was supposed to be a rock star but her approach didn't work for me. My experience with this office has been totally different. I always know that Dr. Zolt will be there, willing to assist and to answer questions as my needs change. He is also effective at communicating with family members.

The audiologist was very professional and helpful and appears to know her business and took the time to explain thing with me and provided solutions for my hearing deficiencies. She is outstanding!! However, when I went to an appointment with an ENT doctor, based on the audiologist's recommendation, the hearing test report that was developed for me by Live Better had not been sent to the ENT doctor, and when the doctor's office called Live Better, there was no one who could provide the report to the ENT doctor. The ENT doctor said that Live Better should have sent him the report since Live Better had referred me to him. Note that the hearing test was taking on October 6th and the ENT appointment was on Oct 8th. As a result I had to schedule another appointment with the ENT doctor wasting precious time and effort. After leaving the ENT appointment that was cut short because of the lack of a hearing test report, I personally drove to Live Better and picked up the report myself to avoid the possibility of the report not being provided to the ENT doctor before my next appointment, The Live Better receptionist did not explain why and did not even say she was sorry.
All my questions and concerns were addressed.
I received an intensive analysis of my hearing problems. I was greeted warmly and Dr Knodell was extremely professional and thorough!

Good personal service for better hearing
I had a great experience with Live Better Hearing initially Dr Mills was extremely thorough and conscientious in getting me fitted for my hearing aids. That was in March of 2024. Last week I began to have trouble with one of the units so I called for an appointment. They got me in for an appointment two hours after my call. Once there Dr Mills quickly diagnosed my problem and had everything working as it should be. She also updated the software my hearing aids use before I left the office. Prompt professional service is rare these days A year and a half after my initial experience I could not be more pleased with Dr Mills and her team

Brandi responds to all my inquiries promptly. She & Gabriele are pleasant to do business with. Brandon is timely in seeing us. He answers all our questions and shares all the "new" tech info that he has learned since our last visit.

The visit went very well. My hearing test was repeated ( my prior test was three years ago). My hearing aid was tested and reset, and I left with a new commitment to wearing them.
